13 April 2011 (day 28) - Sand delivered

Two days ago, 11 April 2011, I was mowing at the site.
I was at the very back end of the block, when a truck entering the dumpy gate delivering sand.

He has stuck at wet area after rain, and could not get out, the other two trucks those delivered the sand then towed him. They told me that the builder asked them to use dumpy gate and put the sand as far as they can. Then I asked them to put the second and third load of sand at the back near the tennis court.
I refuse them to unload the second and third load on the driveway as I think the heavy equipment that gonna work will make mess around the driveway and chipping the concrete.

The builder refused it and stop the delivery of sand.

He came to the site and explain why they need to put the sand on the driveway. He also explained that the bobcat will have rubber on the wheel.
This is ok then. They can use the driveway and put the sand there.

Last month when the plumber worked, they loaded and unloaded the excavator on the driveway and made such a mess and chipping the concrete. I am the one who has to clean the driveway that's why this time I did the objection. But after he explained about the rubber wheel on the heavy equipment, I allowed the sand to be unloaded on the driveway.

The second and third load that have been put on the back can be used for sand beddng at the alfresco area.

Sand continued delivered on 13 April 2011.
