3 May 2011 (day 48) - Slab preparation

After zero activity for about 2.5 weeks, trademans start worked at site on 3 May 2011. They did the sand fill to the slab area using bob cat. The sand then will be compacted and tidied up with excavator. Wish they use all new sand, but they put some original soil (which mixed with grass) from the site at the bottom side first. The black soil is the original site soil.

They also prepared the edging of the slab with wood to shape and determine the height of the slab concrete. 

I think, they used at least 9-10 loads truck of sand.

The height of sand bedding is measured and adjusted accordingly.
